Momentum Builds in Downtown St. Louis

A bold new chapter is underway: Gateway Arch Park Foundation has officially acquired the long-vacant Millennium Hotel site, unlocking a transformative $670 million redevelopment led by The Cordish Companies. The 4.2-acre riverfront property will become a dynamic mixed-use destination with 1.3 million square feet of residential, office, commercial, and cultural space.

“This is about helping Downtown thrive and reconnecting St. Louis with its riverfront,” said Ryan McClure, Executive Director of the Foundation. “When we work together, St. Louis reaches its full potential.”

This week’s milestone marks real progress in reshaping our city’s core — and moves the region one step closer to the STL 2030 Jobs Plan vision. (Announcement Recap from Greater St. Louis, Inc.)
