Centene’s Sarah London and Edward Jones’ Penny Pennington make 2022 list

Fortune has named two top St. Louis executives its list of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business.” Sarah London, CEO of Centene Corporation, and Penny Pennington, Managing Partner of Edward Jones, were recognized in this year’s list.

Executives are ranked using five criteria: the size and importance of each woman’s business in the global economy; the health and direction of the business; the arc of her career; her social and cultural influence; and how she is wielding her power.

Both Centene and Edward Jones are executive-level members of the Greater St. Louis, Inc. Chair’s Council, with Pennington serving as a member of the GSL fiduciary board.

Greater St. Louis, Inc. congratulates these two deserving leaders on this achievement, as well as all they do to move their companies — and St. Louis — forward.

Help spread the good news!
