St. Louis has secured new, nonstop service to London, as British Airways has announced flights between St. Louis Lambert International Airport and London’s Heathrow Airport are planned for four days a week beginning in April 2026.

“Expanding connectivity is critical to our work to grow St. Louis, and this new nonstop service to London will greatly increase our ability to attract international investment and to showcase St. Louis on the global stage,” said Greater St. Louis, Inc. Interim CEO Dustin Allison.

Intentional Work to Attract International Investment

In the past few years, GSL and its partners have led trade delegations and traveled to trade shows in Europe and other global destinations to promote investment in the St. Louis region to international audiences. “We’ve been intentional in our work to promote St. Louis as a destination to international markets, and that work is paying off,” said Allison.

Later this year, GSL and Explore St. Louis will lead a trade delegation to London to advance business and tourism opportunities in St. Louis prior to the flights launching next Spring.

Expanding Global Connectivity

Announcement of St. Louis’ new flights to London comes on the heels Lufthansa’s recent announcement that it will expand its nonstop flight service between St. Louis and Frankfurt, Germany, from three days a week to five, starting in June 2026, showing the international community that St. Louis is a place to which they need to be connected.

“This is a great day for St. Louis, and we want to thank and congratulate Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge and the leadership at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport, the St. Louis Port Authority, the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, World Trade Center, and Explore St. Louis for their leadership and partnership in support of St. Louis’ continued growth.”
