Leadership Makes an Impact: Fellows Partner with United Way

The Greater St. Louis, Inc. Fellows Experience this week spent two days showing up, giving back, and making an impact in St. Louis. The leadership development program teamed up with the United Way on Wednesday to expand the definition of leadership “beyond the bottom line,” then spent Thursday at 16 sites throughout St. Louis for the program’s annual Day of Service.

“We know that intentional leadership can drive both organizational success and regional impact,” said Trezette Dixon, Senior Director, Greater St. Louis, Inc. “We want our Fellows to grow professionally while serving as catalysts for change for the St. Louis community. This week gives them a practical playbook for civic pride, engagement, and leadership.”

More than 80 current Fellows and around 45 Fellows alumni participated in the week’s events. Community leaders and partners — including those from the Missouri Historical Society, Explore St. Louis, Valley Park School District, Affinia Healthcare, MasterCard, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Edward Jones, and the City of St. Louis — led discussions and panels.

Recruitment for the 2027 Fellows cohorts begins soon. Learn more about the Fellows Experience.
