From backyard games to the major leagues, St. Louis is all about sports.
Four major league teams call Downtown St. Louis home: the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues have long and storied histories, while the St. Louis Battlehawks and St. Louis CITY SC are emerging as some of the country’s newest sports success stories.
St. Louis is also home to women’s sports teams and their supportive crowds. The St. Louis Surge is our professional women’s basketball team, and we also have the internationally ranked flat track Arch Rival Roller Derby and the four-time champion St. Louis SLAM women’s football team.

St. Louis welcomes the NASCAR Cup Series to the region at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, thanks to the decade-long efforts of track owner and CEO Curtis Francois.
