Design Downtown STL
Developed through a community planning process, Design Downtown STL is the official neighborhood plan for Downtown St. Louis. Design Downtown STL is a roadmap to guide implementation of the community’s vision for Downtown as the economic, social, and cultural heart of the region. The plan was formally adopted by the City of St. Louis in December 2020.
ULI Advisory Services Panel Report: The Gateway Mall, St. Louis, Missouri
An Urban Land Institute Advisory Services Panel studied the Gateway Mall, the 18-block linear park between the Gateway Arch National Park and MLS Stadium, in Downtown St. Louis, evaluating opportunities to activate the public green space and the adjacent commercial spaces to improve the overall performance of the corridor.
City of St. Louis Transportation and Mobility Plan
The Transportation and Mobility Plan establishes new priorities for a safer, better-maintained transportation network that serves users of all modes of transportation. As a multi-modal hub, Downtown St. Louis serves a critical role in implementing these recommendations for how people get to and through the neighborhood.
City of St. Louis 2025 Strategic Land Use Plan
The Strategic Land Use Plan assigns land use designations that indicate the future development focus intended for each block in the City. Adopted by the Planning Commission in February 2025, these guidelines inform future zoning and policy recommendations for the entire city, including Downtown.
