Mathis and Dietrich Promoted to Partner; Jacobs Welcomed to Team

ST. LOUIS – Greater St. Louis, Inc. announced today the promotion of Lakesha Mathis and Greg Dietrich to Partner and the hiring of Sarah Jacobs to expand the organization’s Business Growth team.

“As we strengthen our organization to better support our efforts to drive growth, we wanted to recognize the sustained excellence of two critical members of our team, Lakesha Mathis and Greg Dietrich, by naming them partners” said Managing Partner Ron Kitchens. “Their commitment and dedication to our mission exemplify the type of leadership our region needs to grow, and we are excited for their futures with our team.”

Lakesha Mathis currently oversees the Community Engagement team for Greater St. Louis, Inc. In her time with the organization, she has led the SupplySTL and Diverse Business Accelerator initiatives. Prior to Greater St. Louis, Inc. Mathis worked with the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association as Director for Inclusive Business Solutions. Mathis holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Greg Dietrich oversees the organization’s Marketing team. Dietrich served as Senior Vice President for Marketing for AllianceSTL prior to the merger that established Greater St. Louis, Inc. He previously held marketing roles with technology and software companies in the St. Louis region. Dietrich is a graduate of Missouri State University and holds a master’s degree from Saint Louis University.

Greater St. Louis, Inc. also announced that it is expanding its Business Growth team with the hiring of new Senior Director Sarah Jacobs.

Sarah Jacobs returns to St. Louis from the state of Georgia, where she was President and CEO of the Coweta County Development Authority. Prior to that position, she served as Economic Development Manager for Spire Energy and as a member of the Business Attraction team for the Regional Chamber and Growth Association here in St. Louis. Jacobs holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Maryville University.

“Adding someone with Sarah’s experience to our Business Growth team will greatly strengthen our efforts to create more and better jobs,” added Kitchens. “We are excited to welcome her back to St. Louis.”

The promotions of Mathis and Dietrich to partner are effective immediately. Jacobs joins the organization Wednesday, April 15.
