Executives from around the country gathered in St. Louis this week for the two-day Manufacturing Leaders Summit hosted by Chief Executive Group. The event featured a keynote by St. Louis native Jim McKelvey, Co-Founder of Block, and showcased the operational excellence taking place throughout St. Louis’ manufacturing sector. Greater St. Louis, Inc. was proud to serve as a title sponsor.
Local STLMade companies like The Gund Company, Cambridge Air Solutions and Barry-Wehmiller, as well as Boeing, offered both expertise and exclusive plant tours to participants, who also enjoyed a tour of the iconic Anheuser-Busch Brewery.
“This event brought together so many mid-sized and even generational companies and gave them a close look at how the manufacturers in St. Louis are shaping the future of the industry,” said Sarah Jacobs, Senior Director, Greater St. Louis, Inc., who led a supply chain roundtable discussion during the summit. “Culture plays a big role in the success of these companies and its importance was on full display.”
