A group of over 40 business and civic leaders from St. Louis traveled to Jefferson City on March 4, 2026, to represent the region in the Missouri Capitol. Greater St. Louis, Inc. convened the group, which included representatives from major public and private organizations throughout the region.

The leaders met with Governor Mike Kehoe, Attorney General Catherine Hanaway, State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick, House Speaker Jon Patterson, and legislators from both parties and both chambers of the General Assembly to discuss GSL’s 2026 public policy priorities, including the Revitalizing Downtowns and Main Streets Act to catalyze office-to-residential conversions.
