Last week, members of the Greater St. Louis, Inc. leadership team visited The Wedge Innovation Center in Alton, Illinois, to discuss strategy and get input from Metro East leaders on how to partner for growth. Both the Business Growth and Strategy teams shared their goals and updated attendees on current projects in hopes of bringing new ideas and partners to the table.
The Bottom Line
To attract more and better jobs, Missouri and Illinois need to work collaboratively and adopt a shared vision for the region. Greater St. Louis, Inc. is committed to serving all 15 counties and ensuring that our priorities will support the people and companies on either side of the river. “Regionalism is a force multiplier,” said Ron Kitchens, Managing Partner of GSL, “and we can celebrate economic success regardless of where it’s at in the region.”
