Small Businesses Benefit from New Partnership

The Supplier Readiness Accelerator, an initiative of Greater St. Louis, Inc., has announced a new strategic capital partnership with the St. Louis Small Business Empowerment Center.

“This partnership represents more than a funding opportunity for small businesses,” said Lakesha Mathis, Senior Director. “It’s a shared commitment to strengthening small, emerging, and growth‑stage suppliers so they can meet the scale, quality, and operational expectations of major enterprises. Together, we’re expanding access to the tools, coaching, and capital suppliers need to become supplier ready and unlock new opportunities.”

The investment will help:

  • Scale accelerator programming;
  • Deepen support for high‑potential suppliers;
  • Drive measurable outcomes in capacity building;
  • Ensure small scalable businesses have the capital they need to grow.
