Statement: Primary Election for Mayor of St. Louis

Greater St. Louis, Inc. Interim CEO Dustin Allison issued the following statement regarding today’s primary election in the City of St. Louis: 

“Our mission is driving inclusive growth for the St. Louis region. That means attracting jobs and growing our tax base so that everyone in St. Louis has the opportunity to thrive. Among other critical steps, this requires investments in disinvested neighborhoods and in our Downtown and ensuring the transformation of our airport. 

“Over the course of the next five weeks we look forward to speaking with both candidates in greater detail about their visions for the future of St. Louis and to make clear that the business community stands ready to work with the winner of the general election to get St. Louis growing.”
