Candidates must be ready to put exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills to work in a fast-paced and intense environment to help create jobs and grow the bi-State St. Louis metro economy. Interns work in-office at the Greater St. Louis, Inc. offices in Downtown St. Louis. The internship will provide a holistic and authentic economic development work experience by offering hands-on project-based assignments including research, writing, and data analysis. Coordinator, Business Attraction & Marketing
The Coordinator, Business Attraction & Marketing provides project support for Greater St. Louis Inc.’s initiative to attract new companies, investment, and jobs to the St. Louis bi-state metropolitan region. The business attraction team at Greater St. Louis, Inc. markets St. Louis to generate new investment leads and provides follow-on services at no charge to the client to position St. Louis’ competitive advantages. Such services may include site location visits, customized market research, financial incentive assistance, and related support. Greater St. Louis, Inc. carries out its work in a collaborative manner with regional partners with the goal of driving inclusive growth by securing new jobs and investment.
The Coordinator is a critical role, assisting in the development, organization, and delivery of marketing materials and site selection services to Greater St. Louis, Inc.’s clients. The Coordinator must have an ability to work at a fast pace, paying great attention to detail, with a focus on agility and the ability to balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Director of Business Attraction
The Director of Business Attraction plays a critical role at the top of the sales funnel by working closely with other team members of the business attraction team to identify qualified leads, site location projects, and market opportunities aligned with the focus industries identified in the STL2030 Jobs Plan. Your role will involve analyzing market research and business data, identifying companies of interest, presenting your findings to the team, creating profiles of target companies and their decision-makers, providing data to inform direct marketing activities, tracking leads through the sales funnel, evaluating the performance of the team’s business development activities, and making recommendations for improvement. You will work closely with the marketing, business research, and project management team members to ensure that your business development recommendations align with GSL’s business attraction strategy.
Agility, collaboration, and comfort with fluidity and ambiguity are key to success. This position will include communicating and collaborating with internal and external GSL stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to think analytically and strategically, and present persuasively and concisely are essential. Executive Assistant
Reporting directly to multiple executive officers (“Officers”) of Greater St. Louis, Inc. (“GSL”) representing the organization’s Downtown, real estate, and legal functions, the Executive Assistant serves as a liaison to the offices of other internal teams, as well as to executives representing GSL’s major investors, civic leaders, and other stakeholders across the community. The Executive Assistant will also assist in the administration of accounts payable, as well as various aspects of GSL’s contract management process.
The successful candidate must be a professional, highly responsive point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders. The Executive Assistant must have demonstrated experience in managing projects from start to finish, providing support to C-suite executives using judgement and discretion in a position of trust and confidence, and managing accounts payable processes.
The Executive Assistant must work comfortably under deadline, managing confidential and sensitive information with the highest degree of discretion. This role requires attention to detail, compliance with policies and processes, communication and follow-through. Producing accurate work product within established systems, standards, and procedures will be essential. This is the perfect job for an analytical and collaborative professional who wants to make a difference in the St. Louis community.

Manager of Strategy
SupplySTL is a key initiative of the STL 2030 Jobs Plan that is designed to advance inclusive economic development throughout the metro by connecting companies, business, and institutions throughout the region to meaningfully increase local procurement of goods and services. Working closely with partners across the metro, SupplySTL is engaging both anchor institutions and corporations and small and mid-sized businesses locally to eliminate barriers to access and create connections that lead to vendor/customer relationships and a robust local procurement ecosystem.
Within the “supply” side of this initiative, there is a focus on helping entrepreneurs to increase their business’ capacity, expand their access to capital, and access the networks and resources that can support thriving businesses. There is a targeted focus on launching, accelerating, growing, and scaling local companies led by BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and women entrepreneurs.
The Business Community Navigator will work to support the creation, launch, acceleration, and scaling of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and women small business owners and entrepreneurs.

The Vice President will be a registered lobbyist and will routinely interface with and give direction to our team of contract lobbyists.

Vice President of Real Estate Investment
The Vice President of Real Estate Investment is responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned projects related to GSL’s real estate investment activities on behalf of the Arch to Park Equity Fund. In addition, the VP may provide support and guidance to other GSL teams, particularly in the area of real estate development, as needed. Accordingly, agility, collaboration, and comfort with fluidity and ambiguity are key to success. The VP will work with the Fund’s investors and staff to administer the Fund’s portfolio of real estate assets, with particular emphasis placed on curating the pre-development and development processes for those assets in a manner designed to achieve the Fund’s investment objectives. As well, the VP will assist in researching, analyzing, and documenting new real estate investment opportunities for the Fund.
