St. Louis has secured new, nonstop service to London, as British Airways has announced flights between St. Louis Lambert International Airport and London’s Heathrow Airport are planned for four days a week beginning in April 2026.

Announcement of St. Louis’ new flights to London comes on the heels Lufthansa’s recent announcement that it will expand its nonstop flight service between St. Louis and Frankfurt, Germany, from three days a week to five, starting in June 2026.

Greater St. Louis, Inc. Interim CEO Dustin Allison issued the following statement about the expanded global connectivity to and from St. Louis:

“Expanding connectivity is critical to our work to grow St. Louis, and securing this new nonstop service to London will greatly increase our ability to attract international investment and to showcase St. Louis on the global stage.

“We’ve been intentional in our work to promote St. Louis as a destination to international markets, and that work is paying off. Coupled with Lufthansa’s recent announcement of expanded service to Frankfurt, Germany, we are showing the international community that St. Louis is a place to which they need to be connected.

“This is a great day for St. Louis, and we want to thank and congratulate Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge and the leadership at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport, the St. Louis Port Authority, the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, the World Trade Center, and Explore St. Louis for their leadership and partnership in support of St. Louis’ continued growth.”

Later this year, GSL and Explore St. Louis will lead a trade delegation to London to advance business and tourism opportunities in St. Louis prior the flights launching next Spring.

Note: British Airways’ nonstop flight service between St. Louis Lambert International Airport to London Heathrow Airport begins April 19, 2026. Flights are available to be booked now on British Airways’ website.
